While a large majority of people still support pro life, there is an equal number if not greater number of men and women who oppose pro life ideas and support pro choice which gives women more freedom and options to do with their own bodies. This is most likely in response to any kind of legislation of potential passing of legislation that would threaten and prohibit a female to make a choice for their own body. As a result, these women to the streets to protest any legislation of the sort. This is important as it shows the willingness and passion of these women in direct opposition to any kind of immoral threat. In terms of Feminist Theory, This shows the female experience. For so long, politicians believe that it is their duty to enforce their own laws, often the word of the bible unto people that don't need nor desire laws to govern their own body. The female experience in this case is that they are again disregarded not as people but as things to forcibly govern without their own consent. |

This is most likely in response to all the ways Trump made the public afraid of Muslims. As a result, Shephard created this poster to protest and oppose his hate speech. The poster shows a woman in a hijab made of the American Flag signifying how Muslim Americans will not be intimidated and will stand strong. It shows how women are mostly disregarded (by some people) and that they are merely objects |
